DCET Admit Card 2026

DCET Admit Card 2026 is a mandatory document for students taking the Design Colleges Entrance Test at test centres across India. Registered candidates will be able to download their Admit Card directly from the official DCET website within the announced timelines. Students must ensure that they check all details, including Name, DCET Registration ID, Roll Number, Date of Birth, Category, and Examination Schedule. 

DCET Admit Card Release Window

DCET Admit Card 2026 will be released on the official portal. Students who have completed the registration process and paid the application fee will be eligible to download their hall tickets.

Test takers will receive notification of the admit card release via registered email and SMS. Admit cards will be issued after verification and can be accessed using credentials (Registered Email ID / Mobile Number and Password) on the exam website.

How to Download DCET Admit Card?

Students can follow the instructions specified below to download the hall tickets:

  1. Visit the official DCET admit card portal: www.dcetexam.com
  2. Enter your Registered Email ID / Mobile Number and Password
  3. Navigate to the “Download Admit Card” section.
  4. The DCET hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Verify all details, download, and take a printout of the admit card.

Documents to Carry on Exam Day

Test takers must bring the following documents to the examination centre:

1. Printed copy of DCET Admit Card 2026

2. Any one valid, original photo identification:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • PAN Card
  • Driving License

Without both the admit card and a valid photo ID, entry to the exam hall will not be permitted.

DCET Exam Day Guidelines

Students must note the following exam day guidelines:

  • Report to the designated test centre by 7:00 AM with a printed copy of your DCET admit card and a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.).
  • Student identification will be done by invigilators and authorised representatives of the organising committee. In case of any identification concerns, entry may be denied or additional verification may be done. No extra time will be given for delays.
  • Students must avoid carrying electronic devices like phones, smartwatches, calculators, tablets, or study materials.
  • Students must bring their own pencils packed in a transparent pouch.
  • Sketch pens, colour pencils, poster colours, paints, or any other colouring materials are not permitted. 
  • An A4-size writing board needs to be carried. 
  • Sharing or exchanging materials is strictly prohibited.
  • Students must stay inside the exam hall for the entire test duration.
  • If any technical issues arise during the computer-based test, the invigilator must be informed immediately. Necessary steps will be taken, and any lost time due to a technical glitch will be compensated.
  • Test takers must follow all instructions on the admit card, as well as instructions given by the invigilators.
  • Cheating or impersonation will lead to disqualification and legal action.

DCET Test Centres

DCET 2026 will be conducted across 68 test centres in 31 selected cities throughout India. During the online registration process, students must select three preferred cities as their exam centres. Allocation will depend on availability and administrative considerations. Once registration is complete, requests to change exam cities will not be entertained. If a city has insufficient students registered, it may be excluded from the final list, and affected students will be reassigned to their second or third preferred city. The organising committee reserves the right to add or remove cities or assign alternate centres to ensure smooth conduct of the exam.
