DCET Result 2026 Date

The DCET Result 2026 for Stage 1 will be declared on February 10, 2025. The GAT and CAT rounds will be held on January 28, 2025. Students must visit the official candidate portal and log in using their user ID and password to view their results. The scorecard will be available in online mode only. No hard copies will be sent by post or email. 

The Stage 2 exams will be held on March 1, 2025. A final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in all the stages. It will be released on March 15, 2026. The DCET scorecard 2026 will be valid for one academic year. It can be used for B.Des admission in the same academic year in which the examination is taken. Students are advised to download and secure their scorecard for all future admission-related processes.

  • The scorecard will be available for download in online mode only. No hard copies will be dispatched to students.
  • Students must download and keep multiple copies of the DCET exam results 2026. It will be used during counselling, admission, and verification processes.
  • The NDT 2026 score will be valid only for one year.
  • Any discrepancy in the personal details mentioned on the scorecard must be reported immediately to the examination authority.
  • There will be no facility for re-grading, re-evaluating or re-totalling the scores. Any request regarding the same will not be entertained.

DCET Tie Breaking Criteria 2026

After round 1, a rank list will be curated based on the total marks acquired in DCET 2026. If the total marks secured by two or more students are the same, then the following rules will be applied:

  • A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part B.
  • If it does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in the GAT test of Part A.
  • If the tie still exists, a higher rank will be assigned to the students who have obtained more marks in the CAT test of Part A.
  • If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.
