DCET Selection Process 2026 is the final stage where candidates will present their Portfolio and appear for the Personal Interview. After appearing for the final round, a conclusive final merit list will be prepared, and candidates will be offered admissions based on the ranks and institute preferences. Based on the final merit list, the colleges will contact the shortlisted students to complete the admission process which will be facilitated by our official admission partner, CollegeDekho.

How Does the DCET Selection Process 2026 Work?

• Clearing the DCET Exam 2026: Candidates are required to clear the Stage 1 and 2 examinations.
• Portfolio Presentation and PI: The shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process, i.e., Portfolio Presentation and Personal Interview. 
• Final Merit List: At the end, a final merit list will be prepared, and the candidates will be offered admissions as per the rank, college preference list, and category. 

Note: After the second round (Portfolio and Personal Interview), a merit list will be created. Following this, an allocation sheet will be prepared considering the students’ ranks and their preferred universities. Admissions will then be coordinated based on this merit list (with Girnarsoft managing the process as a third party).
