DCET Answer Key 2026: Response Sheet & Objection Process

The DCET Exam Answer Key for GAT of Stage 1 will be made available within 2-3 days after the exam date. Initially, a draft answer key will be published, followed by the release of the final answer key. Candidates will have the opportunity to submit objections to the draft answer key within the specified timeframe. The DCET response sheet will also be provided along with the provisional answer key in PDF format. All important updates regarding the answer key, response sheet, cutoff scores, and exam results will be shared on the official DCET website.

Test takers will receive notification of the admit card release via registered email and SMS. Admit cards will be issued after verification and can be accessed using credentials (Registered Email ID / Mobile Number and Password) on the exam website.

DCET Response Sheet 2026

The DCET response sheet 2026 will be published along with the draft answer key in PDF format. Some of the important guidelines to remember for the response sheet are provided below:

• The response sheet is a scanned copy of the answers submitted by students. It can be used to compare answers marked by candidates with the correct answers provided in the answer key.
• The responses submitted by students in the GAT exam of stage 1 will be available for downloading only until the exam results are announced. 
• Once the DCET result is declared, the link to download the response sheet will be disabled.
• To download the response sheet, students must log in to the ‘candidate portal’ by entering their login credentials.

Provisional DCET Answer Key 2026

The provisional DCET answer key will be released a few days after the exam concludes. It will comprise the correct answers to the multiple-choice questions in the GAT of Stage 1 of the exam. The official website will release the DCET 2026 question paper, the draft answer key, and the response sheet simultaneously. 

How to Calculate DCET 2026 Scores?

The steps to calculate scores through the DCET answer key 2026 are mentioned below:

• Open the draft DCET 2026 answer key and response sheet side by side.
• Tally the responses with the official answer key.
• Count the total number of correct and incorrect answers. 
• Multiply the total number of correct answers by +1, and the total number of incorrect answers by 0.
• Subtract the total number of incorrect answers from the total number of correct answers to obtain the final estimated DCET score.

How to File Objections Against Provisional DCET Answer Key 2026?

The process to file objections against the provisional DCET 2026 answer key is as follows:

• The link to access the ‘DCET answer key challenge window’ will be available on the official DCET website.
• Objections can only be raised against the questions in Part A of the Stage 1 exam.
• Students will have to log in to the ‘candidate portal’ using their registration credentials and click on the direct link for the objection window.
• The objections must be entered in accordance with the sequencing of the questions in the official DCET question paper. 
• No objections will be accepted post the stipulated timeframe.

Note* - Students will be eligible to raise objections or submit comments only through the official website of DCET. Any objections sent via email or other modes of communication will not be accepted.

DCET 2026 Answer Key Objection Fee

• An objection processing fee (tentatively 50% of the application fee per question challenged) may be applicable.
• The fee, if charged, will be refunded if the objection is found to be valid and accepted by the examination committee.

Final DCET Answer Key 2026 Answer Key

The final answer key of DCET 2026 will be available shortly after the DCET objection process concludes. Students will not be allowed to raise any objections against the revised answer key. 

Following the release of the final answer key of DCET 2026, the cutoff marks for Part A of Stage 1 will be announced.
